Learn Unity Game Development in Melbourne

Master C#, 3D graphics, and game design in our hands-on bootcamp. Build real games from day one.

We’re focused on practical skills. You’ll work with industry-standard tools, learn from experienced developers, and ship actual projects. No theory-only classes here — just real game development.

About Our Bootcamp

We’re not a traditional school. We’re a team of game developers who teach game development.

Started in 2019, we’ve trained over 400 students in Melbourne. Most are now working in the game industry or running their own projects. We focus on what actually matters — building skills that studios hire for, creating a portfolio that impresses, and understanding the real workflow of game development.

Our instructors have shipped commercial games on Steam, mobile platforms, and consoles. They’re not lecturers reading slides — they’re active developers who know exactly what you need to learn. Classes are small (8-12 people max), so everyone gets real feedback on their work.

What We Teach

Core skills you’ll develop across all programs

C# Programming for Games

Master the language that powers Unity. We start with the basics — variables, loops, functions — and move into object-oriented design, inheritance, and advanced patterns. You’ll write clean, maintainable code from the first day.

3D Graphics and Asset Management

Learn how to work with 3D models, textures, materials, and lighting. We don’t expect you to be a 3D artist — we teach you how to import assets, organize your project, and use the tools correctly. You’ll understand what makes games look good.

Game Design and Mechanics

You’ll learn how to design systems that are fun to play. Physics, collision detection, player input, game loops — we break down the concepts and show you how they work in practice. Design theory paired with hands-on coding.

Student Stories

Real feedback from people who’ve been through the bootcamp

“I didn’t think I could code when I started. The instructors broke everything down and didn’t make me feel stupid for asking questions. Now I’m working at a studio doing exactly what we learned in class. Worth every minute.”

“The best part wasn’t the lectures — it was working on actual projects with other people. We shipped a game together during the course and it’s on itch.io. That’s something real I can show studios. Plus the small class size meant real feedback.”

“Wasn’t sure if a bootcamp was worth it versus self-learning. But having mentors who’ve actually shipped games made all the difference. They taught us the things that aren’t in tutorials — the workflow, the problem-solving, the real industry stuff.”

Common Questions

Answers about our programs and how we work

Do I need coding experience?

No. We teach C# from the ground up. You’ll need to be willing to learn and spend time on practice, but prior experience isn’t required. We’ve trained absolute beginners who now work in the industry.

How long is the bootcamp?

Our programs range from 4-week intensive courses to 12-week part-time tracks. You can choose based on your schedule and learning style. Most students need around 200-300 hours to reach industry-ready skill level.

What’s the class size?

We keep classes small — maximum 12 people. This means everyone gets real feedback on their code and projects. We’re not running a lecture hall. You’re getting actual mentorship.

Will I get help finding a job?

We don’t guarantee jobs, but we help. We review portfolios, introduce you to studios we know, and provide career guidance. 85% of our graduates work in the game industry. Many studios specifically hire from our program.

Do you teach other game engines?

We focus on Unity because it’s the most accessible and widely used. The C# and game design concepts transfer to other engines like Unreal. But if you want to learn something else, talk to us — we might be able to help.

What if I’m not ready at the end?

We’ll be honest about where you are. Some people need more time. We offer follow-up mentoring and can discuss extended learning paths. But most people are shipping projects and ready to move forward.
